Cuc Phuong

Update: 12/01/2022
"Going home", which is a free tour launched in March at Cuc Phuong National Park in the northern province of Ninh Binh, has allowed tourists to release animals back into nature, thereby helping spread the message of nature conservation among the public.

Cuc Phuong's wildlife release tour promotes conservation of nature

"Going home" tour attracts nature lovers.

For the first time in a national park in Vietnam, visitors can join authorities in releasing rescued animals back into their natural habitat.

The tour has received an enthusiastic response from many visitors, particularly as COVID-19 spread around the country.

Taking part in the tour, visitors join the Cuc Phuong National Park's staff in releasing wild animals that had been rescued from the illegal wildlife trade.

The tours are free. Visitors can make a donation to support the national park's conservation efforts, helping to raise public awareness about wildlife protection.

After nine months, more than 100 visitors have taken a "Going home" tour, returning over 100 wild animals to their natural habitat.

Each participant on the tours becomes an "ambassador" spreading a love of nature among the public.
