Temple of cultural celebrity Truong Han Sieu is a tourist attraction in the center of Ninh Binh city. The temple was built next to the foot of Non Nuoc mountain at the confluence of Day and Van rivers. It is a cultural and spiritual destination of Ninh Binh people.
Truong Han Sieu was born in Phuc Am village, Yen Ninh district, Truong Yen road (now Phuc Thanh ward, Ninh Binh city, Ninh Binh province). He was a man of martial arts talent, a mandarin, a cultural celebrity of the Tran dynasty. Together with Nguyen Trung Ngan, they wrote the Code of "Hinh thu" and the book "Hoang trieu dai dien", laying the foundation for the Vietnamese feudal system to operate according to the law.
Temple of Truong Han Sieu was built in 1998, architecturally in the style of Dinh character, including 3 compartments, Bai Duong and 2 harem compartments, two floors with tiled roofs, corners with curved blades. Look at the roof edge rolled up at both ends like the image of a dragon boat. The front of the temple has a great image written in Chinese characters "Truong Thang Phu Tu". The harem has an incense burner and a statue of Truong Han Sieu cast in bronze.
Near Truong Han Sieu temple is the historical and cultural monument of Non Nuoc pagoda, located on the opposite side across Non Nuoc mountain. All combine to form a cultural and spiritual area in the middle of Ninh Binh city.
