Cuc Phuong National Park is a nature reserve and special-use forest located at the intersection of three provinces: Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh, and Thanh Hoa. Cuc Phuong National Park Vietnam is a breathtaking natural wonder that showcases the country’s rich biodiversity. Nestled between lush mountains, this park is home to diverse wildlife, including rare species like the critically endangered Langur. The national park has a rich flora and fauna, characterized by tropical rain forests and lush green vegetation all year round. This place has tall, ancient trees. Traveling to Cuc Phuong National Park, you will be immersed in pristine nature, admiring the beauty of the plant ecosystem. The national park has many species of animals listed as rare such as clouded leopards, fire leopards, etc. In particular, this is the only place in the world with the white-rumped langur – an endemic animal of Vietnam. Coming to Cuc Phuong National Park, you will admire the beauty of butterflies with brilliant colors flying across the sky. Or flocks of fireflies shimmering in the night. You will feel the beauty like a fairyland. 

Cuc Phuong National Park is home to many remarkable ancient trees. One of the highlights is the Dang ancient tree, standing tall at 45 meters with a 5-meter diameter and a sprawling 20-meter-long root system. Then there’s the Thousand-Year-Old Tree, the oldest in the park, also 45 meters high and so wide that at least 20 adults could hug its trunk. 

Lastly, the Sau ancient tree has a unique shape that looks like a solid wall, making it a perfect spot to relax under its large leafy canopy.
