Ninh Binh Organizes Famtrip to Survey New Tourism Products at Ui Valley Tourist Area

Update: 05/02/2026
On February 2, 2026, the Tourism Association of Ninh Bình, in coordination with Xuan Truong Construction Enterprise, organized a large-scale famtrip program to survey new tourism products at Ui Valley and several key destinations across the province. The event attracted significant attention from the national tourism community.

Attending the program were Ms. Ha Lan Anh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Bui Van Manh, Director of the Department of Tourism; Mr. Vu The Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association; Ms. Duong Thi Thanh, Chairwoman of the Ninh Binh Tourism Association; along with leaders of various departments and agencies. The event also welcomed representatives from tourism associations of provinces such as Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, and Lang Son. Notably, nearly 3,000 delegates participated, representing over 2,000 travel agencies and tourism service enterprises from across the country. In addition, nearly 60 central and local media agencies attended, helping to widely promote the image, potential, and value of Thung Ui as a new tourism product.

Within the program, delegates directly surveyed and experienced the landscape, infrastructure, and tourism services at Ui Valley. Located within the Tràng An Scenic Landscape Complex, Thung Ui is a relatively new destination, currently being completed and expected to officially welcome visitors during the Lunar New Year 2026. The site is being developed as a cultural and spiritual destination combined with eco-tourism and historical values, preserving unique cultural elements and recreating the traditional Mường cultural space.

According to historical accounts, at the highest point of this valley, Đinh Tiên Hoàng established the Kinh Thien Altar to perform rituals to Heaven and Earth, proclaiming himself emperor, founding the state of Dai Co Viet, and choosing Hoa Lu as the capital.

The exploration journey begins at Kinh Thien Terrace, passing through Kinh Dia Terrace and Kinh Nhan Terrace, then continuing to Kinh Thien Temple and the Kinh Thien Altar. Deeper into the valley lies a boat station, where visitors can enjoy a unique perspective of Thung Ui by water, leading into a space that recreates traditional Mường cultural life.

The famtrip program at Ui Valley Tourist Area was not only a meaningful tourism promotion activity but also affirmed the role and potential of Ninh Bình in developing high-quality eco-tourism and cultural-spiritual tourism products. It contributes to gradually enhancing the province’s position on the national tourism map.
