Located in Ky Phu commune, Nho Quan district, Ninh Binh province, about 8km from the gate of Cuc Phuong National Park, in the ecological green subdivision of the national wildlife park in Ninh Binh province; Bear Sanctuary was built in 2015 by FOURV PAWS - an international non-profit organization in the field of animal welfare with the purpose of rescuing and nurturing bears.  This is the place to receive and care for the life of bears from private farms that are voluntarily transferred or confiscated from the illegal wildlife trade.

With a total area of over 22 hectares, Ninh Binh Bear Sanctuary is designed and built according to international standards for modern wildlife keeping, ensuring the most natural living space for bears.

Currently, the facility is taking care of 49 bears, mainly horse bears. Visiting Ninh Binh bear conservation facility, the children will be able to see firsthand the bear paradise with different large and small bears and see the bears playing together from the long, solidly built concrete route. 250 meters or watch the bears swimming in the lake, climbing, sunbathing on the lawns. The journey ends at hut 3 "Happy Bears", the baby will see lovely and cute moments of the bears with lying, sitting and playing positions at Bear Sanctuary.
