According to information of VNA, a seminar on sustainable tourism development cooperation between Ninh Binh Province and partners in Belgium took place at the headquarters of the Vietnamese Embassy in Brussels on 10th March 2023.
Presenting Ninh Binh tourism potential, Mr. Bui Van Manh, Director of Ninh Binh Province’s Department of Tourism, said that the province has nearly 2,000 historical and cultural relics and 50 tourist attractions. Ninh Binh plans to turn tourism its spearheaded sector in a green and sustainable direction.
Leader of province showed the express to learn Belgium in promoting tourism and preserving heritage.
Ms. Belinda Serkeyn from Fisa company, expressed her impression of the tourism strength of Ninh Binh Province. She suggested Ninh Binh Province attend the annual Brussels Tourism Fair, which attracted 650 firms from more than 60 countries and territories this year.
Belgium and Vietnam are in the Francophone bloc, so they have many similar cultures. Belgians love to learn culture and explore new destinations like Ninh Binh Province.
The province should focus on tourism products related to cuisine and culture, Mr.Tran Ngoc Quan, Trade Counselor of Vietnam in Belgium and the EU recommended.
According to the leader of the province, Ninh Binh will discuss with a number of localities such as Ha Noi, Quang Ninh Province and Ho Chi Minh City regarding the participation in the Brussels tourism fair next year.
