In a bid to create a spectacular rice field in Tam Coc on the occasion of tourism week "Yellow Colour of Tam Coc - Trang An" 2022, local villagers have carefully taken care of their rice fields along Ngo Dong.

Before local farmers began the winter-spring crop, Hoa Lu district's authorities steered and guided farmers in Van Lam commune to plant rice into the shapes of the festival flag and words "Tam Coc Mua vang" (Tam Coc in Yellow Season).
The rice field covers an area of 18 ha along the waterway from Dinh Cac - Ca Cave - Hai Cave - Ba Cave. Especially, the art work becomes too vivid and colorful these days as the rice have grown strongly.

In the middle of May, the flag-shaped rice field will have both yellow colour (ripe rice) and green colour (unripe rice) on the occasion of the tourism week "Yellow Colour of Tam Coc - Trang An". These colour changes will make the picture more special.
This is the first time local farmers have planted rice into the shape of a picture. The special rice field is hoped to create a fresh experience for visitors when coming to Ninh Binh province.
