When Spring comes, Ninh Binh's streets are adorned with brilliant yellow of changing leaf Indian oak trees or "Loc vung" in Vietnamese. Indian oak trees change their leaves from the beginning of March to April every year. This incredible landscape only happens once a year, but it only exists for a few days because immediately after the yellow screen, the leaves fall with the wind, the trees begin to sprout green, luxuriant and flowering.
