Thien Ha Grotto eco-tourism site, which is located inside the Trang An Landscape Complex , owns a wild dreamy beauty. The beautiful cave boasts exotic stalactites, which makes itself be dubbed “the rock castle” or “the galaxy inside the mountain”.

Thien Ha cave is in Son Ha commune, Nho Quan distict, Ninh Binh province. The cave hides itself in Nui Tuong mountain, which belongs to the Trang An mountain range, is likened to an outpost tower protecting the Hoa Lu ancient capital during Dinh and Le dynasties. The grotto is perceived as one of the most beautiful water caves in Ninh Binh and it is comprised of two smaller caves which are a 200m long dry cave and a 500m long water cave.

Following the tour visitors will explore the dry cave first. The dry cave is 200m long and 40m wide. As soon as you enter the cave, you will be amazed by the twinkling stalactite system which looks like a rock castle being enclosed by layers of thousand year old rocks. The inside of the cave is different from its wild ancient outer appearance, the unique attractive stalactite system, the further you go inside the cave, the more evocative the stalactites are, they are seen like myriad shapes which evoke your imagination. The air inside the cave is cool and comfortable. In the dry cave there is an outlet leading to the southern mountain ridge, the outlet is called “the heavenly well” and this outlet is the intersection of the cave and the outer world. After finishing exploring the dry cave you will get on a boat to explore the water cave. The 500m long subterranean river is likened to a endless bendy galaxy leading to the white stalactites. The deeper you go inside the water cave, the more you are attracted to the masterpiece rocks that are sculpted meticulously by nature. The rocks are associated with legends of  Hoa Tien island,  Bau Sua Me, Ca Hoa Long…..
