On July 11, 2026, at Minh Hạnh 2 Hotel in the Giao Ninh Tourist Area, the Ninh Bình Tourism Association, in coordination with the Department of Tourism, held the Launch Ceremony of the Giao Ninh Tourism Chapter and the Announcement of the Thịnh Long – Quần Anh – Hành Thiện – Giao Ninh Tourist Area tourism route.

Attending the program were Mr. Doãn Quang Hùng, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Giao Ninh commune; Mr. Phạm Duy Phong, Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism; Ms. Dương Thị Thanh, Chairwoman of the Provincial Tourism Association; leaders of the offices under the Giao Ninh commune People's Committee and the Department of Tourism; and members of the Ninh Bình Tourism Association.
At the program, the Provincial Tourism Association announced the decision establishing the Giao Ninh Tourism Chapter, an important milestone in building an ever-stronger association. The chapter will serve as a bridge between businesses, local residents, and the Provincial Tourism Association, and as a forum for members to cooperate, build links, share experience, improve service quality, and foster a civilized, professional, and friendly tourism environment.
In recent years, Ninh Bình's tourism has continued to grow in both scale and quality, steadily establishing itself as an attractive destination in Vietnam and the region. Besides promoting the outstanding value of the Tràng An Scenic Landscape Complex and its system of cultural, historical, and natural heritage, the province has always focused on developing new tourism products, expanding tourism space, and strengthening links between businesses and local communities, helping raise the destination's competitiveness.
In particular, following the administrative restructuring, Ninh Bình has entered a new stage of development with a larger area and more diverse tourism resources, bringing together the full range of heritage, cultural, ecological, delta, and coastal values. This creates favorable conditions for forming inter-regional tourism routes and sites and for building new experience-based products that meet the increasingly varied needs of domestic and international visitors.
At the program, the Provincial Tourism Association announced the Thịnh Long – Quần Anh – Hành Thiện – Giao Ninh Tourist Area route. This new route harmoniously connects coastal space, cultural and historical values, architecture, and community life, offering visitors a varied journey with many distinctive experiences.

Thịnh Long Beach is a well-known destination with a long coastline, clean scenery, and resort activities. The route then takes visitors to Quần Anh village, a land with a history of land reclamation from the sea more than 500 years ago, whose whole area, seen from above, takes the shape of a flying dragon. Next is Hành Thiện village, a village famous in Vietnamese history, shaped like a swimming carp. Linked with Quần Anh's flying dragon, the route forms a distinctive cultural story: "the carp turns into a dragon," a symbol of the will to rise, the spirit of scholarship, and the aspiration for success among the people of the Red River Delta. The route ends at the Giao Ninh Tourist Area, a new destination for Ninh Bình's coastal tourism, with a range of community-based tourism products, resorts, cuisine, fishing-village cultural experiences, and activities tied to the coastal ecosystem.
The creation of this route not only connects high-potential destinations and lengthens visitors' stays, but also encourages links among businesses, diversifies products, and makes better use of tourism resources in the coastal area. It is also a concrete step in the province's orientation toward expanding its tourism development space, turning local cultural values and marine resources into a driving force for local socio-economic development.
The launch of the Giao Ninh Tourism Chapter and the announcement of the Thịnh Long – Quần Anh – Hành Thiện – Giao Ninh Tourist Area route open a new direction for effectively tapping the potential of coastal tourism, strengthening links among destinations, and promoting the value of local tourism resources. It is expected to be an important foundation for forming distinctive tourism products and building a Ninh Bình tourism brand that is ever more attractive, distinctive, and sustainable in the new period.
