On the afternoon of April 10, 2026, in Hà Nội, Ninh Binh Department of Tourism, in coordination with the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hưng Yên and Cà Mau, jointly organized a tourism promotion conference under the theme “Connecting Heritage, Spreading Identity.”
Attending the conference were Ms. Nguyễn Thị Hoa Mai, Deputy Director General of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism; Mr. Nguyễn Hồng Hải, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association; along with representatives from departments and agencies of the three provinces, including Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Departments of Tourism, Centers for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, tourism associations, travel businesses, experts, and central and local media agencies.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Phạm Duy Phong, Deputy Director of Ninh Binh Department of Tourism, emphasized that Hưng Yên, Ninh Bình, and Cà Mau possess rich and diverse natural resources. These destinations offer a full range of tourism types, with valuable historical and cultural relics, renowned scenic landscapes, beautiful natural settings, and friendly, hospitable people, making them safe and attractive destinations for both domestic and international visitors.

Ninh Bình stands out for its exceptional cultural and natural heritage, notably the Tràng An Scenic Landscape Complex, which has been inscribed by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site. Cà Mau province, located at the southernmost tip of the country, is distinguished by its unique forest and marine ecosystems and warm hospitality. Meanwhile, Hưng Yên is a land rich in cultural traditions, well known for its traditional craft villages and distinctive cultural heritage.
Representing three different cultural regions of Vietnam, these localities, when connected, form a diverse and compelling interregional tourism route with strong development potential.
Within the framework of the conference, a variety of practical activities were held, including business-to-business (B2B) networking sessions, exhibitions showcasing tourism products and regional specialties, promotional videos highlighting the tourism potential and strengths of the three provinces, and presentations and discussions on solutions to attract visitors in the coming period.
Notably, representatives of businesses and local authorities introduced new tourism products, programs, and key events for 2026, while also sharing experiences in tourism promotion and digital transformation.

A highlight of the conference was the signing ceremony of cooperation agreements among stakeholders, aimed at strengthening tourism linkages, developing interregional tour routes, and enhancing the promotion of tourism in Hưng Yên – Ninh Bình – Cà Mau to domestic and international markets.
The Tourism Promotion Conference of Ninh Bình – Hưng Yên – Cà Mau not only provided an opportunity for localities and businesses to meet and exchange ideas, but also opened up new avenues for cooperation. It contributes to fostering a more professional, effective, and sustainable model of regional tourism development, thereby gradually enhancing the position and competitiveness of Vietnam’s tourism on the global map.
