Ninh Binh Launches 2025 Tourism Week: Tam Coc – Trang An in Golden Splendor

Update: 23/05/2025
On the afternoon of May 23, 2025, the opening ceremony of Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2025, themed “Golden Hues of Tam Coc – Trang An”, officially took place in a breathtaking natural setting. The event was held at the floating stage by Hang Hai, within the Tam Coc – Bich Dong tourist area, Ninh Hai Commune, Hoa Lu City, Ninh Binh Province.

Attending the ceremony were prominent central and provincial leaders, including Ms. Cao Xuan Thu Van, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance; Ms. Vu Thi Anh Phuong, Deputy Director of the Department of External Relations and Cultural Diplomacy; and Ms. Phan Linh Chi, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism. Also in attendance were ambassadors and representatives of various embassies, officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representatives of foreign business associations in Vietnam, leaders of neighboring provinces, travel companies, national and local media outlets, as well as a large number of domestic and international visitors.

From the host province, notable attendees included Mr. Doan Minh Huan, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Ninh Binh Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Ninh Binh People's Committee; alongside members of the Provincial Standing Committee, leaders of departments and sectors, and local residents.

Delivering the opening speech, Mr. Tran Song Tung, Vice Chairman of the Ninh Binh People's Committee, emphasized the significance of Ninh Binh Tourism Week as an opportunity to honor the province’s stunning natural landscapes and rich cultural heritage, while also promoting the image of Ninh Binh to visitors near and far. This year’s opening ceremony was particularly noteworthy for its harmonious blend of nature and art. The stage was set beside a scenic rice field that had been transformed into a living artwork. At the peak of ripening season, the golden rice formed the shape of a carp leaping over the dragon gate—a traditional Vietnamese symbol of perseverance, ambition, and success. The visual tribute not only celebrated the cultural and spiritual values of Hoa Lu, the ancient capital, but also honored the creativity and artistic spirit of local farmers, who, in addition to cultivating the land, contribute to cultural enrichment.

Ninh Binh Tourism Week 2025 runs from May 23 to 31 in the Tam Coc – Bich Dong area. It presents a valuable opportunity for Ninh Binh to strengthen cultural and socio-economic exchanges, particularly in tourism, with partners from across Vietnam and the world.
