In the first 3 months of 2025, Ninh Binh tourism industry welcomed 4.4 million tourists, tourism revenue in the province is estimated at 4.6 trillion VND. The number of visitors to tourist attractions in the province in March reached nearly 1.4 million, up 11.94% over the same period last year. Tourism revenue in March is estimated at nearly 1,639 billion VND, up 30.19% over the same period last year. In the first 3 months of 2025, the number of visitors to tourist attractions in the province is estimated at 4.4 million, up 13.04% over the same period last year, the number of tourists staying at accommodation establishments is estimated at over 801 thousand, up 27.86%; The number of guest days is estimated at nearly 853 thousand guest days, an increase of 21.48%. Total tourism revenue in the first quarter of 2025 is estimated at 4,692 billion VND, an increase of 29.33% over the same period last year.
The reason for the change and increase in the number of visitors is that in the first 3 months of the year, tourism activities in the province were more vibrant, at the beginning of the year, the demand for tourists to go on spring trips to visit tourist attractions, participate in festivals, and worship at temples and pagodas is very large. Spring music programs by artists such as singers Ha Nhi and Trung Quan Ido held in Hoa Lu Ancient Town attracted a large number of tourists. Ninh Binh province successfully organized the International Conference on the economic value of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex and developing World Heritage Destination Brands, contributing to the development of sustainable heritage tourism, affirming the position of Trang An Heritage, of Hoa Lu - Ninh Binh in the system of world heritage cities.
