Bao Ban Non Khe Festival is a traditional cultural beauty of Non Khe village, Yen Tu commune, Yen Mo district, Ninh Binh. This year, the festival becomes even more special as it is associated with the 555th anniversary of the founding of Non Khe village and the ceremony to receive the certificate of "National Intangible Cultural Heritage". This event will take place over 3 days, from February 9 to February 11, 2025 (ie January 12 to 14 of the lunar calendar).
The traditional Non Khe village Bao Ban Festival consists of 2 parts: ceremony and festival. The ceremony is an opportunity for villagers to offer incense to commemorate the ancestors who opened up and founded the village and at the same time express their sincere respect to the martyrs who heroically sacrificed their lives in the long war to protect their homeland and country.
However, this year the ceremony will have many special features compared to previous years, the highlight of the ceremony is the ceremony to receive the certificate of "National Intangible Cultural Heritage", marking an important milestone in preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of Non Khe village. In the afternoon, there will also be a dragon dance around the village, a food competition promising to attract the attention of many people and tourists.
