Trang An-Cuc Phuong Hot Air Balloon Festival is the first event held in Ninh Binh to diversify the experience journey for tourists, contributing to promoting the image, nature, culture, potential of the land and people of the ancient capital.

During the festival, people and tourists were able to admire the giant hot air balloons displayed at Trang An Cultural Park. At the same time, they were able to visit and shop at the booths displaying specialties of the province and regions.

However, due to unfavorable weather conditions in the province in recent days, the hot air balloon experience and performance activities were affected and limited.

According to statistics from the tourism industry, from October 26 to 28, the Trang An-Cuc Phuong Hot Air Balloon Festival in 2024 welcomed about 35,000 visitors, including about 12,000 international visitors. 

Organizing the Festival is an important premise for the tourism industry and businesses to continue researching and renewing tourism products in the province in the coming time. Thereby, gradually turning tourism into a spearhead economic sector, making an important contribution to the socio-economic development of the province.
