Bai Dinh Pagoda is a cultural and spiritual tourist area located in the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, recognized by UNESCO as the first mixed cultural and natural heritage in Vietnam.

When King Dinh built the country, this place was once considered the West town of "Hoa Lu tu tran" to protect the ancient Hoa Lu citadel.
