Discover the mysteries of the primeval forest at Cuc Phuong museum

Located deep in the heart of Tam Diep mountain range, this is the first national park of our country and a large nature reserve, storing many diverse and abundant species of animals and plants. The forest covers more than 22,000 hectares, spreading across three provinces of Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh and Thanh Hoa. Coming here, visitors can walk in the forest, watching the ancient trees, the red forest flowers stand out among a green full of life.

This museum is located on the grounds of Cuc Phuong National Park. Stepping inside, visitors will be widened by the majestic butterfly tower located on the first floor. Butterfly Tower has about 350 colorful butterfly patterns. Through research, scientists have confirmed that butterflies are an indicator of habitat and biodiversity (that is, where there is still abundance of butterflies, it proves that the living environment there is fresh, diverse flora and fauna). Cuc Phuong Museum is home to 337 species of birds, 129 species of reptiles and amphibians, 66 species of fish, 23 species of mollusks, 12 species of crustaceans and about 2000 forms of insects and countless other aquatic animals. has not been studied.
