Implement plan No. 166/KH-UBND dated October 18, 2021 of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee on organizing activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the re-establishment of Ninh Binh province. Ninh Binh Department of Tourism has issued Plan No. 104/KH-SDL dated February 16, 2022 on organizing the Ninh Binh Provincial Excellent Tour Guide Contest in 2022.
The Ninh Binh Provincial Excellent Tour Guide Contest in 2022 is a practical activity to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the re-establishment of Ninh Binh province (April 1, 1992-April 1, 2022). As expected, the contest will take place in March 2022. This is an opportunity for the guides to improve their professional skills, update new content on legal regulations, improve their professional qualifications, exchange and learn from each other, and progress towards standardizing the tour guide team. The contest is also an opportunity to strengthen the connection between tourism service businesses and institutions that train and recruit guides, especially during the period of flexibly adapting to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Participants are tour guides who have been issued cards (international, domestic, on-site) who are working (officially or as collaborators) at travel business establishments, Ninh Binh Tourism Promotion Information Centre; civil servants, officials and guides at tourist sites, traval establishments in the province; individuals living and working in Ninh Binh province have interests in guiding activities, freelance guides.
The contest was organized through 2 rounds: Preliminary round and Final round. In the final round, the contestants will have two parts, the speech contest and the tour guide's talent contest. The prize structure of the Contest has 06 official prizes, including: 01 First Prize, 02 Second Prizes, 03 Third Prizes. In addition, there are additional prizes awarded by sponsors, including: Award for the best guiding skill, Award for choosing the most suitable and harmonious outfit, and Award for talented tour guide. Best, Award for the best answer.
