Recently, The Culture Trip - travel review and advice site based in London (UK) has released a list of 10 most beautiful national parks in Vietnam to introduce to world readers, including Cuc Phuong national park.
According to The Culture Trip, Cuc Phuong is one of the most accessible national parks in Vietnam. Just over 100km from Hanoi, visitors can explore Cuc Phuong national park on foot, by motorbike or bicycle and it's best to visit within two or three days. Visitors can also visit the Muong villages according to a number of guided tours.
Owning 222km2 of primeval rainforest, Cuc Phuong is known as a giant biological park with more than 2,200 species of plants, 336 species of birds, 135 species of mammals, 122 species of reptiles, etc... in which including many recorded species in the Red Book of Vietnam. Cuc Phuong national park also has many beautiful caves preserving long-standing cultural and historical vestiges such as: Nguoi Xua cave, Con Moong cave, etc. This is also the first national park of Vietnam, is one of the a famous, attractive eco-tourism site and the most important conservation area of the country.
