The festival takes place on the 18th to 19th day of March (in lunar calendar) annually at Trang An World Heritage
The festival's uniqueness is the fact that all ceremonies are held on the river. Ceremonies held include water-carrying procession, palanquin and dragon procession to commemorate Saint Quy Minh Dai Vuong with his contribution to protect the country, concurrently to pray for favorable weather conditions. Participating in the festival, tourists have chance to come back to the dream like and charming land of Trang An area and enjoy traditional rhythm acknowledged as intangible heritage of the country’s provinces.
