During the seminar, delegates focused on discussing trends in green tourism development and responsible tourism associated with conserving natural resources, preserving cultural identity, and promoting sustainable development. Many participants emphasized that, as travelers increasingly seek environmentally friendly tourism products, transitioning to green tourism models has become an inevitable trend to enhance competitiveness and build a sustainable destination brand.
Tourism businesses shared experiences in reducing plastic waste, using clean energy, developing eco-tourism products, strengthening connections with local communities, and building tourism management models oriented toward sustainable development.

Speaking at the event, representatives of the Vietnam Tourism Association highly appreciated Ninh Bình as a locality with strong advantages for green tourism development thanks to its diverse natural ecosystems, unique landscapes, and outstanding cultural heritage values. The active participation of tourism businesses in green tourism criteria was considered an important contribution to improving service quality, protecting the environment, and promoting the province’s image as a green destination.
Within the framework of the program, the Launch Ceremony of the Green Tourism Association Chapter of Ninh Bình Province officially took place. Currently, Ninh Bình Province has 15 units recognized as members of the Vietnam Green Tourism Association, out of a total of 60 members nationwide. This is seen as a positive signal demonstrating the proactive approach of Ninh Bình tourism businesses in keeping pace with the rapidly growing green tourism trend in Vietnam and around the world.

The establishment of the association chapter is expected to strengthen connections among tourism businesses in the province in implementing green development criteria, promoting sustainable business transformation, and raising community awareness about protecting the tourism environment.
Through the program, participating organizations expressed their hope to continue spreading the message of green tourism development and building a civilized and friendly tourism environment, thereby contributing to positioning Ninh Bình as a green, safe, and sustainable tourism destination in the region and nationwide.
