Being a land of cultural, historical and spiritual sediments and possessing many beautiful natural landscapes, Ninh Binh has chosen the direction of exploiting "green tourism" to create sustainable development. Some green tourist attractions such as Trang An eco-tourism area, Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist area, Cuc Phuong national park, Van Long wetland nature reserve, etc have attracted a lot of visitors in recent years.
1. Trang An eco-tourism area
With many caves, mountains, valleys, forests and historical sites, Trang An is a scenic complex that scientists liken to an "outdoor geological museum". When tourists get off the boat to visit Trang An, the first space that opens up is an open sky and water. The bottom of the water is blue like the color of the mountain. On the natural trees are the habitats of many species of birds and animals. 2. Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourism area
Tam Coc - Bich Dong is considered as the most attractive tourist destination in Ninh Binh, known for famous names such as "Ha Long Bay on land" or "Nam Thien De Dong Dong". Tam Coc (three caves) includes Ca cave, Hai cave and Ba cave. All three caves are formed by Ngo Dong river flowing through the mountain. Indeed coming here, you will feel the charming beauty. It can be said that the scenery of this scenic area is a harmonious combination between the beautiful scenery of caves, the rugged mountains, the poetic rivers and streams and the talents of people forming a unified and inseparable block.
3. Cuc Phuong national park
Cuc Phuong national park is 22,408 hectares, is a famous eco-tourist destination in Ninh Binh province, attracting several hundred thousand visitors annually. Visitors come here to explore the rich flora and fauna, admire the beautiful natural landscape, many interesting caves such as Trang Khuyet cave, God cave, Thuy Tien cave, etc, participate in eco-tourism programs, resort, campfire, adventure, research and historical culture. In addition, there are hot springs, many rare animals and plants here, where is an interesting sightseeing environment for anyone who loves exploring natural ecology.
4. Van Long wetland nature reserve
Van Long is the largest wetland nature reserve in the Northern Delta. The pristine beauty is still very clear here, which has attracted tourists to admire the rich and diverse natural ecosystem of Van Long lagoon. It is home to many flora and fauna systems, and is the habitat for fish, birds, and storks, including the largest population of the white-hipped langurs in Vietnam with over 100 individuals. In addition to the values of flora and fauna, Van Long also possesses beautiful landscape paintings. The idyllic landscape makes every person feel relaxed and peaceful. Van Long was referred to as the "bay without waves" because when traveling on boats on the lagoon, visitors will see the water surface as a giant mirror.
