Ninh Binh located at the southernmost point of Northern Delta is 90 km far from Hanoi Capital to the South, connecting three regions including Northwest, Red River Delta and North Central Coast.
The province has an area of 1,386km2 and population of around 952,000 people. NinhBinh possesses varied topography, the province possesses various tourist attractions with beautiful and appealing sceneries, several of which are Tam Coc - Bich Dong, Cuc Phuong National Park, Van Long Wetland Nature Reserve, Yen Thang Lake Ecotourism Site, Dong Thai Lake, Thung Nham Bird Garden, Thung Nang, Thien Ha Cave, Kim Son coastal area, mineral hot springs, etc., especially Trang An Lanscape Complex which was recognized as a Natural and Cultural World Heritage in 2014 by UNESCO, the first mixed heritage of Viet Nam and Southeast Asia.
