At the conference

Opening the conference, themed "One journey - Many experiences", Director of Ninh Binh's Department of Tourism Bui Van Manh, said the provinces of Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Tinh are rich in cultural and historical values, and boast many world heritages, such as Trang An landscape complex, Citadel of the Ho Dynasty, and Nghe Tinh Vi - Giam folk singing.

With their tourism potential and advantages, these four localities have formed a bridge to link tourism regions in the whole country and boost the smokeless industry's growth  towards green and sustainable development

In recent years, the four provinces have paid due attention to developing tourism linkages, especially introducing and promoting their new tourism products and services.

Through the conference, the third of its kind, the provinces called on investors, businesses and travel companies to study investment opportunities and build new attractive tourism programmes between the localities.

At the conference, representatives of the provinces briefed participants on the performance of their tourism sectors as well as new tourism products, new destinations, and sports, cultural and tourism events in 2024.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT) Pham Van Thuy spoke highly of the linkage between the provinces, which has played an important role in developing tourism in the whole country and each locality.

Thuy asked these localities to synchronically implement measures to develop tourism rapidly, comprehensively and sustainably.

They need to step up information sharing and exchange, build tourism products that link the four provinces, promote the advantages of heritage tourism, increase tourism promotion, and develop the tourism workforce, he suggested.
