On the morning of September 8, 2022, the International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC) in 2022 was officially opened at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC). This is one of the major and prestigious annual international fairs of Vietnam and the lower Mekong region. The event is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, directing relevant units.
With the theme "Growing Forward Together", the Ho Chi Minh City International Travel Expo in 2022 is expected to be a breakthrough opportunity and create momentum for Vietnamese tourism businesses recovering and developing; at the same time creating a bridge between domestic enterprises and international buyers as well as international visitors.
In order to promote Ninh Binh tourism promotion activities to key tourism markets, with the approval of the Provincial People's Committee, the Ninh Binh Department of Tourism directs the Tourism Promotion Information Center to coordinate with Ninh Binh Tourism Association participated in the fair with the scale of 02 booths with an area of 18m2, prominently decorated with the most typical and unique visual images of Ninh Binh tourism such as Trang An – the World Cultural and Natural Heritage, Tam Coc - Bich Dong, Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, Bai Dinh Pagoda... Attending the fair were representatives of 07 typical enterprises in Ninh Binh province: Ninh Binh Legend Hotel, Hoang Son Peace Hotel, Hidden Charm Hotel, The Reed Hotel, Vedana resort, Emeralda resort and Hang Mua tourist area.
Within the framework of the Expo, at the Ninh Binh tourism exhibition booth, activities of providing information for visitors were conducted by sending staff to directly present information on the economy, society, local tourism; display and distribute publication materials such as books, booklets, maps...; set up appointments with partners to create opportunities for tourism businesses of the province to promote, advertise, introduce tourism products and services, meet, exchange and cooperate with customers, major domestic and international travel agencies.
ITE HCMC 2022 is held in the context of the recovery of global tourism, the strong growth of Vietnam's tourism, the number of international tourists searching for Vietnamese destinations continuously increasing in the recent time, it is expected to open up a "golden" opportunity to promote inbound tourism; creating more impetus to make the tourism industry become a bright spot of aspiration to rise up and regain its inherent growth position.
