On March 19, 2026, at Phở Vân Cù Craft Village (Nam Đồng Commune), the Phở Vân Cù Craft Village Tour and Experience Program – known as the cradle of the phở craft – was officially launched, attracting great interest from both tourists and local residents.
This activity marks the opening event in the four-day series of Phở Festival 2026, themed “Vietnamese Phở – A Living Heritage in the Heart of the Times.” It contributes to introducing and honoring traditional culinary cultural values, while also creating a vivid, hands-on experience space for visitors from the very first days of the festival.

Phở Festival 2026 takes place from March 19 to 22, 2026, organized by the Ninh Bình Culinary Culture Association in coordination with provincial departments, agencies, and local authorities. The program brings together 50 booths from well-known phở businesses and brands across the country, offering distinctive stories and flavors of phở from the North, Central, and South regions.

By participating in the program, visitors can directly explore the traditional phở-making process—from selecting ingredients, making rice sheets, cutting noodles, to preparing the broth. They also have the opportunity to meet and interact with local artisans and enjoy bowls of phở rich in the unique flavors of Nam Đồng.

The Phở Vân Cù Craft Village Tour and Experience Program in Nam Đồng Commune – the cradle of the phở craft – is organized not only to preserve and promote the value of traditional phở-making, a distinctive culinary cultural heritage of Vietnam, but also to spread a message of creativity and integration while maintaining national identity among the people of Nam Đồng in particular and the Vietnamese people as a whole.
