Tam Coc – Bich Dong Tourism Area, in collaboration with Trang An Investment – Trading – Service Co., Ltd., will host the cultural and artistic event “Sac Hong Tam Coc 2025 – An Autumn Love Song” on November 22–23, 2025. This innovative and creative program celebrates the beauty of local nature and culture while affirming Tam Coc as a year-round festival destination where every season offers emotionally rich experiences for both domestic and international visitors.
Inspired by the legend of the purple water lilies on the Ngo Dong River, the program tells a love story between a celestial maiden and a mortal man, in which the tears of parting transform into pure blossoms floating upon the water. The water lily—symbolizing purity, resilience, and romance—is chosen as the spiritual core of the festival, delivering a gentle message about the timeless beauty and enduring spirit of the ancient land of Hoa Lu. Each autumn, the Ngo Dong River blushes with pink-violet hues as water lilies bloom, creating a soft natural tapestry that makes visitors feel as though they are stepping into a fairytale.
At “Sac Hong Tam Coc 2025,” visitors will be immersed in a unique open-air artistic space as the entire Ngo Dong River becomes a grand stage. Hundreds of colorfully decorated boats, designed to resemble giant water lilies, will simultaneously parade through the three caves of Tam Coc: Hang Ca, Hang Hai, and Hang Ba. On the tranquil water, music, lights, and the gentle movement of the boats blend into an enchanting visual symphony—an unforgettable autumn experience. In addition to artistic performances, the program features a solemn peace-praying ceremony at Thai Vi Temple, a sacred site dedicated to the emperors of the Tran Dynasty.
