The Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee has issued a plan on promoting tourism in the period of 2022-2025 in a bid to step up the communication and popularization about Ninh Binh's land, people, culture, history and tourism potential, thus calling for investment in the field.

Accordingly, the province sets a target of welcoming 8 million visitors by 2025, including 1 million international guests, with total revenue of more than 8 trillion VND (348 million USD), contributing around 6.5 percent of its GRDP. The sector is expected to create jobs for at least 23,000 labourers.
It strives to organise or participate in 3-5 international tourism events and receive 5-10 famtrip, presstrip, vlogger and blogger delegations to survey Ninh Binh's tourism potential.
In addition, the tourism sector will step up the application of information technology and digital transformation in building tourism brand and attracting visitors.
Developing a smart tourism ecosystem and implementing promotion programmes on digital platforms and social networks is another task.
The province will mobilise resources to invest in and develop tourism infrastructure, diversify and improve the quality of services to serve tourists.
Ninh Binh will give priority to advertising its tourism brand via the quality of services, tourism products and a safe and friendly tourism environment.
Promotion programmes will be carried out in line with the province's real conditions while organisations, individuals, businesses and investors will be encouraged to join in tourism promotion activities.
In addition, Ninh Binh will study the market, develop tourism products, and build its own tourism brand and communication publications and souvenirs for tourists.
The provincial People's Committee asked the Department of Tourism to work with other agencies and units to implement the plan.
