Cuc Phuong national park is located in three provinces: Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh and Thanh Hoa, 120km Southwest of Hanoi city. This is a large nature reserve with a rich diversity of flora and fauna, a place that contains many interesting things that nature lovers cannot miss in their lifetime.

Cuc Phuong forest has about 400 other species of butterflies such as phoenix butterfly, star butterfly, ... with all colors and sizes. The most common at Cuc Phuong park are white butterflies, which prefer to perch in damp, puddles or muddy places. Visitors should come here on weekdays, especially sunny days after rain to see the butterflies appear most, sparkling in the sunlight. On weekends or public holidays, butterflies are more dispersed.
