Ninh Binh is known as a land of great people, where there are abundant resources with many historical, cultural, and famous landscapes. Not only captivating visitors by the wonderful nature and friendly people, Ninh Binh also attracts visitors with local specialties such as Goat Meat, Com Chay, Kim Son Wine, Nem Yen Mac, Gia Vien Shrimp Sauce, etc. Let's go over some products when traveling in Ninh Binh to buy them as gifts.

1. Com Chay Ninh Binh

Com Chay has been recognized as one of 12 Vietnamese specialties by the Asian Record Organization meeting all the criteria of "Asian culinary value" in August 2012. Com Chay (Burning rice) sounds simple at first, but the cooking processing is complex, all are handmade and depend on their own traditional secrets. Rice for cooking rice is carefully selected from the most delicious sticky rice. The accompanying sauce is usually made from goat meat, has a spicy and fragrant flavor creating the uniqueness of the dish.

2. Gia Vien shrimp sauce

Gia Vien district is known as a low-lying area, and people here have a job of curling shrimp and making unique and delicious fish sauce. To make delicious shrimp sauce jars, people only choose old and fresh shrimp. Gia Vien shrimp paste is nominated by the Vietnam record book organization as one of the typical dishes of Vietnam, this is also one of the specialties that cannot be ignored when buying as a gift for relatives.

3. Ninh Binh goat meat

Truong Yen mountainous area, Hoa Lu district has the advantage of many limestone mountains. For generations, people have raised goats for economic development. Goats live in the mountains, eat a variety of plants, natural grass, and the meat is fragrant with herbs and has a strong flavor from rocky mountains. The specialties processed from goat meat are very diverse such as: undercooked goat, pan-fried goat, fried goat with chilli lemongrass, goat stewed with traditional herbs, etc. Ninh Binh mountain goat  meat has been recognized as one of 50 famous Vietnamese specialties, a specialty that tourists often buy as gifts when traveling to the ancient capital.

5. Kim Son Wine

Rượu Kim Sơn – Ninh Bình

A branded wine, currently nominated for a record of "Top 10 most famous wine specialties in Vietnam". Wine is produced from traditional craft villages in the present coastal district of Kim Son. Drinking wine feels very fragrant and mellow, do not miss this special drink.
