"Year-end Afternoon" is one of the special Tet programs and one of the five key Tet programs of Vietnam Television. For nearly 20 years, the program has become a familiar TV show for every family on the afternoon of the 30th of Tet. This year, VTV has chosen Ninh Binh - a place with poetic and lyrical scenery and a rich cultural and historical heritage, as the location to make this special program.
The program was recorded at 4 main locations: Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, Trang An Eco-tourism Area, Hoa Lu Ancient Town and Bai Dinh Pagoda with the participation of famous artists. With a duration of nearly 2 hours, “Chieu Cuoi Nam” will create a unique, rich and warm television program imbued with national culture.
This year, “Year-end Afternoon” program has chosen the theme “Strength of Origin” as the idea throughout the program with the aim of honoring traditional values, cultural origins and the spirit of solidarity of the nation. The program hopes to evoke pride in the origin, connecting the community through stories, music and images imbued with nostalgia for the homeland. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to look back on the past journey, cherish the sustainable values that have been cultivated through many generations, and continue to spread positive spirit to everyone in the meaningful year-end moment.
In recent years, Ninh Binh has become a famous tourist destination on the Vietnamese tourism map. This place inherits the cultural heritage of the ancient capital region with more than a thousand years of history with unique cultural values, imbued with national identity and many beautiful landscapes.
